Hello everyone!

I'm quite delighted that so many peopleenjoyed Tower of Heaven! I have to admit I didn't expect such a well reception and it definitively proved me that Newgrounds is a portal with a really diverse audience. (:

Tower of Heaven was originally released as a Windows only downloadable back in 2009 and it was created by a group of hobbyists who enjoyed making games for fun. A couple of months ago these guys contacted me about publishing the flash version of the game and I instantly accepted their offer. I assigned the task to one of the best programmers from my group, Stefan Jeremic, and the flash version was done in less than a couple of weeks! Flashygoodness, who originally composed that awesome music for the game, took the flash version a step further by adding things like level creator, secrets and secret endings! And finally, thanks to awesome Tom Fulp of the Newgrounds thanks to whom we managed to make this possible! Thanks Tom!

Currently we have another game lined up for publishing on Newgrounds and it's in the similar style as Tower of Heaven! The game is currently only available on Bored.com but will come to Newgrounds sometime next week! Until then go play it with achievements on www.Bored.com!

PLAY

In Kyle's words:

"In a dark mysterious world only one voice is trying to guide you to safety, or is it? It's time to make your escape but can you trust the person that is trying to help? Not everything is what it seems. Journey through 30 different levels and escape from the cage."

Thanks everyone for lovely feedback on Tower of Heaven again!

Cheers,

Miroslav

For a brief moment you see a hedge shape and then you have 10 seconds to trim the untidy hedge and make it look exactly lke what you've seen. That's the game Jan Willem Nijman, the author of Atomic Super Boss, recently made.

The flash version is coming soon to Newgrounds and it will feature:

- Hedge trimmer
- Laaarge pixels
- Casual but hardcore gameplay
- Medals
- Secrets
- Beatboxed music

Play the test of this game here

Upcoming: A game about trimming hedges

My new flash port Atomic Super Boss is coming to NewGrounds this evening around 8PM GMT.

It's a retro bullet hell shmup where you have to score as many points as possible by shooting at the big bad boss. Although there's only one boss, there are many different ways he can attack you making it harder for you to endure the clash and keep shooting him.

Keep an eye on this page if this kind of games suit your taste. (:

In the meantime, here's a bit of in-game action:

Hey guys,

This portal + blog thing was always attracting to me so I decided to say HI.

I am freelance games programmer and amateur games designer (yes, I dare to call myself like that). As a game designer I tend to make short, experimental and weird, but it's not always like that. The five main aspects of games I like are the simulation aspect (game simulates something), the non-spatial interaction (there's a neat non-spatial interaction involved), the unusual feeling of the game (cactus is Sid Meier for weirdness), it's about people (oh, yeah, I'm so into Chris Crawford) and the storyline. I don't care much about graphics. No, not at all. Anyways, what I wanted to say is that I'm into simulation games design.

As a games programmer I earn money. I started this whole flash porting thing recently and it works more than well for me. I'm fast programmer and programming is the last that thing I worry about.

So that's pretty much all I wanted to say. If you want to play more weird games from me or if you want to follow me you can visit my blog at pqgames.wordpress.com. For catalog of games - pqgames.exofire.net.

Cheers,
Miroslav
